JESSE PINSON, 78, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at his residence. He was born December 23, 1947, at Stiltner, West Virginia, a son of the late Jay and Gracie Watts Pinson. Also preceding him in death were five brothers, James Pinson, Johnnie Pinson, Mont Sias, Harley Pinson, and Ira Pinson; and four sisters, Jayetta McCloud, Georgie Shreve, Dakota Copley, and Effie Rakes. Jesse was a retired drywall installer, working for over 30 years. He loved fishing, coon hunting, and riding ATVs in his spare time.
Survivors include his special companion of 25 years, Darlene McClellan; stepdaughter Nancy McClellan of Huntington, W.Va.; stepsons Glen J. McClellan of Argillite, Ky., Michael McClellan of Huntington, and Johnny McClellan of Wayne, all of whom he loved as his own; as well as his pride and joys, his grandchildren, Tyler Neace, Landon McClellan, Chris McClellan, Emerson Scott, Ainsley McClellan, Zoey McClellan, and Tavin McClellan.
Also surviving is one sister, Mary Copley of Akron, Oh.; one brother, Freddie Sias of Kenova, W.Va.; special friends Chuck and Krystal Adkins, James Parsons, Terry Ward, Kim Brewer, Debbie Maynard, all of Wayne, and all the Maynard brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Cox Cemetery with Pastor Roger Watts officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Donations to assist the family are appreciated and can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
