JEWEL GAY NAPIER, 63, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born June 7, 1961, in West Hamlin, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Edgar Napier and Milda Napier. Also preceding her in death was one sister Judy King; three brothers, Kenneth “Tobe” Napier, Bobby Napier, and John Napier. Jewel was a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Lavalette.
She leaves behind her loving husband Mark Napier of Wayne, W.Va.; two sons, Aaron (Jennifer) Napier and their children, Lexi, Gavin, and Alivia, and Shawn Napier, and his children Sophie and Braylon, as well as their mother Sinat Nhoel, all of Wayne
Also surviving are two sisters; Linda Massengil, and Donna Napier (Darrell Gilmore), both of Sidney, OH.; three brothers, Charles (Patty) Napier, David (Rosita) Napier, and Roger (Kathy) Napier, all of Sidney, OH., and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff in the SICU at Cabell Huntington Hospital, along with the staff at the Hospice House of Huntington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Phil Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Napier Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday.
