John Gallagher (Jr.) Brizendine

JOHN GALLAGHER BRIZENDINE, JR., 63, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on December 9, 2023, at Huntington Health & Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, W.Va.  He was born December 16, 1959, in Huntington, a son of John Brizendine Sr., of Huntington, and Norma Lee Newton Brizendine of Ansted, W.Va.  Also surviving are three sisters, Bridgette Brizendine of Proctorville, Oh., Deborah Brizendine of Huntington, and Erin (Vinton) Edmonds of Glenwood, W.Va.; two brother, James Brizendine, and Mark (Anna) Brizendine, all of Huntington; six nieces; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clifford and Alma Newton, and paternal grandparents, Mary Gallagher Brizendine and Frank Brizendine. 

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va., with Pastor Jesse Lacy officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
