John Gallagher Brizendine, Sr.

JOHN GALLAGHER BRIZENDINE, SR., 86, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away May 21, 2024, at the Heritage Center.  He was born September 12, 1937, in Huntington, a son of the late Mary and Frank Brizendine, Sr.  His son John Brizendine Jr., also preceded him in death along with one sister, Eileen Priddy; and one brother, Frank Brizendine, Jr. 

Survivors include his wife, Norma Lee Brizendine of Glenwood, W.Va.; three daughters, Bridget Brizendine of Proctorville, Oh., Deborah Brizendine of Huntington, and Erin (Vinton) Edmonds of Glenwood; two sons, James Brizendine, and Mark (Anna) Brizendine, all of Huntington; 10 grandchildren;  12 great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (Greg) Milum of Huntington.

A celebration of life will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
