Juanita Joyce (Pelfrey) Steele

JUANITA JOYCE STEELE, 80, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2021.  She was born April 18, 1940 in East Lynn, W.Va., a daughter of the late Herbert and Mayme Pelfrey.  Also preceding her in death was her husband Curtis Steele; two sons, Herbert Steele and Anthony Steele; one daughter, Teresa Wiley; two sisters, Eunice Palmer and Donna Frazier; and two brothers Richard Pelfrey and Harold Pelfrey. 

She leaves behind two daughters, Tracy Swimm, with whom she made her home, and Benita Bailey of East Lynn; and grandchildren, Cassidy, Shawn, Sarah, and Mindy, all of Lavalette.

Also surviving are three sisters, Betty (Kelly) Woody of Alto Mont Springs, Fla., Alice Straubel, of Lavalette, W.Va., and Linda Collins of Proctorville, Oh.; and nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention.   

Private services will be held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
