JUDI LANE TAYLOR, 80, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born November 7, 1942, in East Lynn, W.Va., a daughter for the late Homer and Dora Merritt Smith. Her husband Rick Taylor also preceded her in death along with two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Graham and Debbie Taylor; three brothers, Bobby Smith, Donald Smith, and Homer Smith Jr.; and three sisters, Faye Curry, Shirley Lester, and Infant Julie Smith. Judi attended the W. 58th Street Church of God in Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include sisters-in-law, Kathy Taylor Reed of Cleveland, Oh., and Sandi (Scott) Patterson of Scottsboro, Ala., Kimberly (Paul) Butler of Woodville, Ala., and Anthia Smith; one brother-in-law, Daniel (Jean) Taylor of Cleveland, Oh.; two brothers, John (Kesarin) Smith of Huntington, and Jimmy (Linda) Smith of East Lynn, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Jones Cemetery. Procession will depart Johnson Tiller Funeral Home at noon.
