Kathleen Witt

KATHLEEN WITT, 52, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, following a brief illness.  She was born November 10, 1972, in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Emery and Melva Lambert Steele.  Two siblings, Linda Sue Steele and Larry Joe Steele also preceded her in death.

                She leaves behind three sons, James Witt of Ironton, Oh., Jason Witt of Clarksville, Tenn., and Russell Fagelman of New York, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Aiden and Savannah Steele of Wayne,  Kennedy Witt, and Gracie; and her companion Hoyt Maynard.

                Also surviving are three sisters, Ruby (Toby) Adkins of Prichard, W.Va., Anita (Christopher) Willis of Auburndale, Fla., and Fran (Jay) Davis of Barboursville, W.Va.; one brother Frank (Francis) Steele of Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

                A private funeral was held Friday, December 6, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders John Gilkerson and Jason Hogsett officiating.  She was laid to rest at the Skeens Cemetery, East Lynn, West Virginia.
