KENNETH RAY EAVES, 78, of East Lynn, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at home. He was born July 15, 1946, in Branchland, W.Va., a son of the late Kenny and Angelina Eaves. Also preceding him in death were four sisters, Lettie Eaves, Spicie Eaves, Thelma Sizemore and Vanie Farley; four brothers, Orville Eaves, Leslie Eaves, Edward “Elbo” Eaves, and Robert Eaves; and one granddaughter, Zoey Eaves. Kenny was a US Army veteran, a retired bus driver for Wayne County, and a member of Millers Fork United Baptist Church.
He leaves behind his loving wife and love of his life, Marsha Adkins Eaves; one daughter, Ida Marie Eaves of Huntington, W.Va.; two stepchildren, Alisha Adkins of East Lynn, and Johnny (Crystal) Adkins of Polk City, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Noah Ferguson, Jess Ferguson, Jacob Adkins, Clarisa Adkins, Jayson Adkins, and Camron Eaves.
Also surviving is one brother Stanton (Joyce) Eaves of East Lynn; along with several nieces and nephews. Kenneth will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Jesse Lacy officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday.
