Kevin Dale Adkins

KEVIN DALE ADKINS, 53, of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2024.  Born December 12, 1970, in Huntington, W.Va., Kevin was employed by Fed-Ex Express and a member of East Lynn Baptist Church.  Preceding him in death was his father, Hanable “Hank” Adkins, and an infant brother Darin Adkins.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jennifer Adkins; two sons, Tyler (Natalie) Adkins, and Aaron (Annabelle) Adkins; and one daughter Sarah Brooks; one grandchild Owen Adkins, all of East Lynn, and one on the way.

Also surviving is his mother Carolyn Adkins of East Lynn; one brother Scott (Kim) Adkins of Lavalette, W.Va., and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, James Cancer Center at Ohio State University, as well as Hospice of Huntington for their care and support. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Daniel Adkins, Brian Wooten, and Kendall Brainard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Scott Adkins Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday.
