Kevin Darrell Stephens

KEVIN DARRELL STEPHENS, 59, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his residence after a battle with many short illnesses.  He was born July 19, 1966, in West Hamlin, W.Va., and was of the Pentecostal Apostolic faith.  His maternal grandmother Carrie Agnes Watts preceded him in death. 

                Survivors include his parents, Silas and Dorothy Stephens of Wayne; two daughters, Sabrina (Kirby) Booten of Huntington, W.Va., and Chelsea (Dillon) Watson of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren Xavier and Tyson Booten; one brother Richard (Connie) Stephens of Wayne; one sister, Shellie (Danny) Leep of Augusta, Ga.; two nephews, Kyle (K.C.) Leep of Albuquerque, N.M., and Christian (Rylee) Leep of Grovetown, Ga.; special friend Monica Scott of Wayne; Special cousin Jarred Stephens of Wayne; four special aunts, Brenda Lyons of Ceredo, W.Va., Juanita Lawhon of Lesage, W.Va., Seay Jervis of Wayne, and Pam Pratt of Tenn.; and a host of additional family and friends too numerous to mention.

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Mills officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jasper Ferguson Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
