LARRY LEE JORDAN, SR., 75, of Bluffton, Ind., formerly of Wayne, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1948, in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Johnny and Eunice (Maynard) Jordan. Also preceding him in death were two siblings, Roger Jordan, and Geneva Jordan; brother-in-law Buck Maynard; and his nephew Richard Maynard, whom he will be buried beside.
He is survived by six children; Hannah Jordan, Larry Jordan Jr., Michael Jordan, James Jordan, Jason Jordan, Jonathon Jordan; three special children, Danielle Grogg, Daniel Grogg, and Cheryl Blevins; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one sister Mary Lou Maynard; and one brother, Lindsey Ray (Opal) Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Ferguson Branch House of Prayer with church service beginning at 7 p.m. presided by Brother George Thornhill officiating. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the church with Pastor Lemuel Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Buck Maynard Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
