LARRY GENE “Tomcat” COPLEY, 60, of Louisa, Ky., passed away October 26, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was born October 3, 1964, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late James and Eunice Copley. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Bonnie Copley, and two brothers Roger Copley, and Randy Copley. Larry was a retired coal mine mechanic.
He leaves behind one son, Justin (Allie) Copley of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; two beloved grandchildren, Natalie and Raiden Copley; one sister Faye Stamper of Dunlow, W.Va.; two brothers, Emmitt (Zella) Copley of Dunlow, and Ricky (Carol) Copley of Wayne, W.Va.; special nieces Loretta Stumbo and Tammy Maynard; as well as a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Rudy Crockett and Manuel Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sol Copley Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
