Leon French Adkins

LEON FRENCH ADKINS, 48, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born October 20, 1975, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Joe Thomas and Lois Jean “Toots” Adkins.  His niece Karri Adkins also preceded him in death along with his life partner Debbie. 

            Survivors include his son Anthony Adkins of Wayne; stepson Leo Adger of Toledo, Ohio; one sister, Tammy Pelfrey; three brothers, Timothy Adkins, Leroy Adkins, and Paul Adkins, all of Wayne; two nephews Sam (Lauren) Runyon of Lavalette, W.Va., and Shelton (Alyssa) Adkins of Huntington; three nieces, Shara (Devin) Bullard of Wayne, Makayla Fetty of Wayne, and Jaden (Jordan) Tabor of South Point, Oh.; along with a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

            Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, August 2, 2024 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Adkins Bradshaw Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 am.   Donations to assist the family are appreciated and can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
