Obituary

LEONARD RAY ROBINSON, 82, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born July 21, 1940 in Radnor, W.Va., a son of the late Fieldon and Pricie Robinson.  His wife Ruby Robinson also preceded him in death, along with one sister, June Foshee; one brother, Russell Robinson; and one nephew, Dwayne Thompson.  Ray was retired from R.F. Steiner & Co. and attended Florence Memorial United Methodist Church.

                Survivors include one sister, Janice (Larry) Thompson of Genoa, W.Va.; one brother Roy (Evelyn) Robinson of Creston, Oh.; special nieces Claudia Thompson and her daughters Makayla and Megan Thompson, of Genoa, and Amy (John) Mullens of Naples, Fla.; several additional dear nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.  

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor David Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at noon.
