In great honor and appreciation of a loving father, brother, son, and friend, LESLIE DANIEL “DANNY” FERGUSON, 76, of Salt Rock, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan a son of the late Delbert “Deb” Ferguson and Evelyn Ferguson. Also preceding him in death were two brothers Clovis Eugene Ferguson, and Ezra “Linny” Ferguson. Daniel was a Vietnam War veteran with the US Army.
He leaves behind three daughters, Ruth Christine Ferguson of Ocala, Fla., Barbara S. Ferguson of Barboursville, W.Va., and Vickie L. Webb of Huntington, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Tilmon “Stanley” (Patty) Ferguson of Huntington, Delbert “Butch” (Pam) Ferguson of Salt Rock, and Larry Ferguson of Fla.; one sister, Debbie Carter of Detroit, Mich.; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Military honors will be performed by the American Legion Post 93 at 5 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 7 p.m.
