Lillian Phyllis Hensley

LILLIAN PHYLLIS HENSLEY, 95, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, 2025.  She was born May 2, 1929, in Wayne County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Sydney Russell Stephenson and Emma Lucas Gann.   Also preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 76 years, Clyde Hensley; one son, Roger Franklin Hensley; one grandson, Jason Allen Hensley; and eight brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind daughters Karen Nicely of Branchland, W.Va., Gwendolyn Kendrick of Huntington, and Pamela Hensley of Barboursville, W.Va.; two sons Jerry (Kathy) Hensley and Greg Hensley, both of Huntington; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; four sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephenson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday.
