LONNIE KEITH RUNYON, 74, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born April 1, 1946 at Man, W.Va., a son of the late Frank and Ruth Runyon. He was preceded in death, by his beloved wife and soul mate DeVonna Runyon and his sister Diane Napier.
Survivors include his children, April Irwin of Wayne, and Pamela Gibson of South Point, Oh., grandchildren, Destiny Day (Joseph Vasquez) of Wayne, Brooke Runyon (Timothy Tanner) of South Point, Katelyn Gibson of Chesapeake, Oh., Tony Gordillo of Wayne, and Philip and Linda Benko of Beckley, W.Va.; and seven great grandchildren, Jaelyn Pence, Josiah Vasquez, Alyah Vasquez, Connor Runyon, Kylee Hackworth, Kinlee Hackworth, and Ezra Tanner.
Also surviving are two brothers, Wendell (Vicky) Runyon and Todd (Linda) Runyon, all of Sanford, Fla.; one sister, Lorna McDonald of Mudfork, W.Va.; two special brothers-in-law Phil (Sheila) Gollihue of Anderson, Ind., and the late Roger Gollihue and his wife Pat Gollihue of Savannah, Ga.; special sister-in-law Barbara Justice of Pineville, W.Va.; special friend Gene Brummett of Anderson, Ind.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love and support. A special thank you to the staff of Stonerise and Hospice of Huntington that made a difference.
A celebration of Lonnie and DeVonna Runyon's s lives together will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations for service are welcomed. May God Bless you all.
