MARGARET SUE WALLACE, 81, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born July 20, 1942, in Huntington, the daughter of the late Cline and Evelyn Miller. Also preceding her in death were two sisters and brothers-in-law Nancy and Tony Honesto, and Junior and Sherry Wallace, one brother Jack Miller. She was a member of Farmdale Church of Christ. Margy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Donald Wallace; one daughter, Kathy Johnson of Huntington; two sons, Don (Jane) Wallace, and Doug Wallace, both of King, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Patrick (Tara) Burnett of Huntington, Elise (John) Morgan of Charlotte, N.C., Tyler (Meghan) Wallace of Concord, N.C., Jake Wallace of Walnut Cove, N.C., Savannah Wallace of Rural Hall, N.C., Nicholas (Julia) Johnson of Huntington, Luke Wallace, and Addy Wallace, both of King, N.C.; and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister Janell Martin, and one sister-in-law, Susan Miller, both of Huntington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family, friends, and church family too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at Farmdale Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until service time. The service will be livestreamed on Facebook at Farmdale Church of Christ. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
