Mark Alan Mills

MARK ALAN MILLS, 65, of Lavalette, W.Va., was welcomed to heaven on Sunday, March 29, 2026.  He was born August 6, 1960, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Ronald and Geraldine Mills.

                Mark is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, and the love of his life, Dianna; and one brother, James Brian Mills of Huntington.  He was a proud veteran, honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1987 and retired from Marshall University Plant Operations as custodian in 2009.

                Mark always encouraged his wife’s faith and made his own commitment to God and was baptized before his last days.  He loved the Laurel Freewill Baptist Church family for their prayers and support.  The family is also in appreciation to Hospice of Huntington and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery Annex.  Visitation will begin at noon.
