Martha Jewell Taylor

MARTHA JEWELL TAYLOR, 82, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at her son’s residence.  She was born March 15, 1941, in East Lynn, a daughter of the late Willard and Mary Jane (Frasher) Francis.  Her husband Leon Taylor also preceded her in death along with one son, Brian Taylor; and one grandson, Jonathan Taylor; and one daughter-in-law Patty Stapleton.

                Survivors include one son, Ricky (Melissa) Stapleton of East Lynn; and five daughters, Debbie (Greg) Miller of East Lynn, Tonya Mills of Kenova, W.Va., Felicia (Jeff) Hale, Mary (Mark) Ritter, all of East Lynn, and Brandy Taylor of Texas.  She was a grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, which she got much joy from.

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Ministers Delmer Adkins and Emual Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Osburn Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday.
