MARY KATHERN “KATHY” HINKLE, 54 of Fort Gay, W.Va., passed away Monday, June 6, 2021. She was born July 31, 1966, in Pikeville, Ky. to the late Shelvia Berry and Ermil Hinkle. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Hinkle, Elsie Mae Hinkle, and Amanda Hinkle; two brothers, Ermil and William Ray Hinkle; and one grandson Steven Tyler Horn.
She is survived by her long-time companion Randy Thompson; two daughters, Kimberly (Kevin) Hinkle and Missy (Harold) Messer; four sons, Steven (Karen) Horn, James (Toni) Roseberry, Michael (Kasey) Hinkle, and Jason (Amity) Hinkle;18 grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Landon, Dylan, Autumn, Kaiden, Jayden, Jacob, Braydan, Corey, Tori, Kyle, Nevaeh, Braxton, Addilyn, Aryanna, Jason, and Layla; as well as three sisters, Loretta Mills, Connie Jude, and Amy Marcum. The family would like to give a special thanks to Miranda Napier.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Cox Cemetery with Brother Jerry Ross officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
