Matthew Cox

MATTHEW COX, 51, of Genoa, W.Va., passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Genesis Healthcare Putnam Center.  He was born December 8, 1970, in Louisa, Ky., a son of the late Glen and Wilma Cox, and attended Wayne High School. 
            Survivors include his brother Joseph (Betty J.) Cox of Wayne, W.Va.; three special cousins, Jennifer Lynn and Jerry Coburn, and Shawn Marcum; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention. 
     Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Millard Thompson, Elder John Perry, and Brother Zyndale Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sycamore Creek Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday.
