Matthew Timothy Thompson

MATTHEW TIMOTHY THOMPSON, 58, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born March 29, 1963 in Louisa, Ky., a son of the late Willard and Mary Thompson.  Also preceding him in death was his grandmother, Norma Poe James; two aunts, Lucy Polly and Blanche Poe; his cousin Ricky Poe; nephew Aaron Thompson; four brothers, Benjamin Thompson, William Page Thompson, Danny Thompson, and Desmond Thompson; and one sister Goldie Mae Ellis.   

            Survivors include one sister, Norma Mae Miller of Wayne; one brother, Jess Thompson of Ohio; special cousin Mary Poe (Rob) of Akron, Oh.; nephews Charles Dana Miller and David Michael Miller, both of Wayne; along with several additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

            Per his request, there will be no services.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
