Michael Patrick Curry

MICHAEL PATRICK CURRY, 74, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at home.  He was born June 27, 1951, in Huntington, W.Va. and honorably served in the U.S. Army.  Preceding him in death was his mother, Ima Jean Curry; one brother, Christopher Curry; his first wife Freda Curry; and his second wife Juanita Curry.

                Survivors include his stepson, Charles Sowards; his stepdaughter Linda Smith, both of East Lynn; and his grandson Kevin Adkins of Genoa, W.Va.

                Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Perry officiating and military honors performed by the American Legion Post 93.  Visitation will begin at noon.
