Patricia Mounts

PATRICIA MOUNTS, 71, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  She was born May 9, 1954, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Maria and David Martinis, Sr.  Also preceding her in death were four brothers, David Martinis, Jr., Martin Martinis, Donald Martinis and Ronald Martinis; one son, Kenny Townsend; and one grandson, Joseph Mounts.    Those who loved Patricia enjoyed her infectious personality and her zest for life.  Patricia enjoyed Bingo, dancing, quilting, shopping, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family whom she loved dearly.   

                She is survived by her husband Roake Mounts; four sons, James Mounts of Wayne, Sean (Colleen) Mounts of Plainfield, Ill., Justin (Krystal) Mounts of Wayne, and Christopher Mounts, also of Wayne; one daughter Lova (Bryan) Ousley of Glenwood, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Sophia, Eva, Cetera, Makenna, Kylie, Ellisyn, Emalee, Anna, and Olivia; and one great granddaughter, Seanna.

                Also surviving are three siblings, Andrew Martinis of Chicago, Michelle Martinis of Riverside, Ill., and Perry Martinis of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Katherine Martinis of Kenova, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to mention.

                Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
