PAUL ALLEN LYCANS, 46, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born December 8, 1978, in Huntington, W.Va., Paul was a truck driver for Wells Trucking and a member of Rush Branch Church. Paul Allen was a man who cherished the simple joys of life—whether it was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in the great outdoors. Above all, he had an unwavering love for the Lord, and his faith was a cornerstone of who he was. He was not only a loving father but also a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving wife Talisha Lycans; two sons, Michael (Lauryn) Lycans and Tyler Lycans (Cassie Robertson); one daughter, Whitney Lycans; and two grandchildren Hunter Lycans and Violet Caldwell, all of Wayne.
Also surviving are his parents, Sam and Patty Lycans of Genoa, W.Va.; one sister, Samantha (Scott) Stephens of Wayne; special cousin Cathy (Larry) Endicott of Ft. Gay, W.Va.; special friend Jake (Heather) Bowen, whom he loved like a son; and a host of additional family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lycans Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday. Donations to assist the family are appreciated and can be made at www.johnsontillerfuneralhome.com
