Quincy "Kevin" Stroud

QUINCY “KEVIN” STROUD, 47, of Genoa, W.Va., passed away peacefully at his home June 19, 2025, with hope of going to a better place.  He was born August 2, 1977, at Parma, Ohio to loving parents and worked as a heavy equipment operator in the mining industry. Kevin loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, riding his ATV, and enjoying nature. He also enjoyed spending time with his family who loved him so much. 

He was a member of the Comfort United Baptist Church at East Lynn, W.Va. 

He leaves behind his daughter, Kierstin Stroud of Genoa, whom he loved so much and was so proud of; loving parents William and Connie Stroud of Genoa; sister Stacy Stroud of Genoa; special aunt Bonnie (Zyndale) Robinson of Radnor, W.Va.; a special friend since childhood, Morris Jordan of Genoa; as well as a host of other family members and friends. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital, as well as Hospice of Huntington, for their care and support. 

At his request there will be a short graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at Community Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Perry and Zyndale Robinson officiating.  Visitation will begin at noon at the cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
