RALPH HILL, 80, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away suddenly on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was born May 27, 1940 in Mason County, W.Va., a son of the late John and Eathel Hill. Also preceding him in death were four brothers, Delbert Hill, Albert Hill, Carl Hill, and Clannie Hill, as well as his beloved pet dogs, Spot and Sam. Ralph was retired from BFI and a member of the Wayne County Beagle Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hill; his son, Ralph (Jennifer) Hill of Kenova; three stepchildren, Annette Adkins of St. Albans, W.Va., Ken Ellison, and Dortha (Mike) Fields all of Indian Trail, N.C.; five grandchildren, John (Carrie) Hart of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Brandi (Jeremy) Smith of Huntington, W.Va., Hayliee (Richard) Barker of Coal Grove, Oh., Harliee (Eric) Nease of Prichard, W.Va., and Heidiee Hill of Kenova; seven great grandchildren, Landon barker, Sofia Barker, Granger Nease, Saylor Nease, Alexa Hart, Zoey Hart, and Alex Hart.
Also surviving is one brother, Ronnie Hill of Huntington; one sister, Mary Adkins, also of Huntington; special friend Charlie Wooten; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
