Rhoda Sue Helmondollar

RHODA SUE HELMONDOLLAR, 63, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Cornerstone Hospital.  She was born October 4, 1960, in Martin County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Elliott Wicker and Icie Osborne Kirk.  Her husband Clyde Helmondollar also preceded her in death.  Rhoda attended the Wayne Church of God and was a homemaker. 

                  Survivors include her son Charles Helmondollar and his wife Suzi, of Ashland, Ky.; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren, whom she adored; four brothers, Elliott Wicker, Jr. of Huntington, W.Va., John (Fannie) Osborne of Madison, W.Va., Gora Dale (Jean) Kirk of Kenova, W.Va., and Carl Kirk, also of Kenova; one sister, Billie Jean Miller of Cleveland, Oh.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

               A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Wayne Church of God with Pastor Joe Wayman officiating.  Rhoda will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Edgar Maynard Cemetery in a private service.  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
