ROGER ALLEN DAILEY, 81, of Ona, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born May 27, 1942, in Milton, W.Va., a son of the late Alva and Helen Dailey. His brother Rev. James L. Dailey also preceded him in death. Roger was retired from the Cabell County Board of Education and a member of Barker Ridge United Baptist Church in Ona where he served as trustee. He enjoyed wood carving and was a talented artist.
He leaves behind his wife Vera Floe Dailey; two sisters, Imogene Thompson and Elaine Henry (Dale); one brother Alva E. “Perk” Dailey, all of Ona; one sister-in-law, Mauna Dailey of Barboursville, W.Va.; as well as several nieces, and nephews, and many friends.
Private services will be held at a later date. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
