Samuel Leon Adkins, Jr.

SAMUEL LEON ADKINS, JR., 58, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at his home.  He was born January 1, 1967, in Huntington, West Virginia, a son of the late Pamela Sue and Samuel Adkins, Sr.  His sister Rachael Davis also preceded him in death.  Sammy was a graduate of Wayne High School and retired from Steel of West Virginia.

He leaves behind his wife Pamela K. Jenkins Adkins; two daughters, Tiffany Adkins (Crystal) of Huntington, W.Va., and Elisha Adkins, also of Huntington; five grandchildren, Myah Daniels, Michael Daniels, Joey Daniels, Macy Daniels, all of Wayne, and Bohdi Adkins of Huntington.

Also surviving is one brother Daniel (Felicia) Adkins of Wayne; one sister Lena Adkins of Wayne; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Perry officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday.
