Samuel Lee Maynard

SAMUEL LEE MAYNARD, 76, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born July 29, 1949, in Wayne, a son of the late Homer and Australia Maynard.  His wife Tonya Sue Broce Maynard also preceded him in death along with two brothers, Ronald Joe Maynard and Homer Maynard.   Sam graduated Buffalo High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.

                Survivors include one sister, Vivian (Terry) Smith of Kenova, W.Va.; one brother David (Angela) Maynard of Kitts Hill, Oh.; his wife Trenna Maynard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

                Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Blair Cemetery with military honors performed by the American Legion Post 93.  .
