SEIBURN PERRY, 83, of Chesapeake, Oh., went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2026. He was born April 8, 1943, in Lincoln County, West Virginia, a son of the late Walter and Pansy Perry. His daughter Tammy Perry also preceded him in death along with siblings Vernon Perry, Eloise Woods, Lessie Diaz, Robert Perry, Sam Perry, A.J. Perry, Herman Perry, Sally Smith, and Bernard Perry; and three infant brothers, Marion, Marshall, and James. Seiburn retired from the Columbus School Board and attended Fifth Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Guyandotte.
He is survived by one son, Danny Perry and his wife Barbara of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Ashley (Carl) Smith of Columbus, Oh., Shane (Miranda) Christian of Proctorville, Oh., and Darrell Christian of Chesapeake; and great grandchildren Harley Smith, Katie Smith, Kylee Christina, Isabella Christina, and Isaiah Christian.
Also surviving are siblings Walter Perry Jr., Erma Keener, and Ralph (Cheryl) Perry; special friends Rosie Watts, Greg Bailey, and caregiver Margaret Meadows; along with a host of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders Ray Vance and Jimmy Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
