Sharon Kay Gillespie

SHARON KAY GILLESPIE, 60, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away January 1, 2024, at home.  She was born January 30, 1963, in Ashtabula, Oh.  Her mother, Barbara Baker also preceded her in death along with one son, James D. Gillespie, Jr., and a stepsister, Patricia Compston.  She leaves behind her father, Challis Baker of East Lynn; one daughter, Sharon Edmiston of Peebles, Oh.; and five grandchildren, James III, Jolan, Jody, Jadelyn, and Elijah.  

                Also surviving is one sister, Debra Baker Davis; one nephew, Douglas Davis, both of Wilmington, Oh.; two nieces, Jennifer Chappa also of Wilmington, and Melissa Davis-Cate of Hillsboro, Oh.; three stepbrothers, Greg Watts, Wade Watts, and Abe Watts; as well as a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

                Visitation will be held from 6-9 on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
