Shaun Edward Farris

SHAUN EDWARD FARRIS, 47, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Monday March 10, 2025, at the UK Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1978, in Hamlin, W.Va. and was an equipment operator.  His father Sidney Lee Farris preceded him in death along with his brother and sister-in-law, David Lee and Lovada Farris.

      He leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Maldie Mae Farris; one son, Bret Michael Farris, both of Wayne; one daughter Latasha Nicole (Jeffrey) Bryant of Ft. Mitchell, Ala.; along with two beloved grandchildren, Aliza Jane Bryant and Mason Wayne Bryant.

     Also surviving is his mother, Peggy Ann Farris; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbie and Stella Hundley; special friends Jacob and Dora Thierry, all of Wayne; as well as a host of friends.

                               Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Farris Family Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
