Susan Ann Slone

SUSAN ANN SLONE, 80, of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.  She was born August 30, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Marie Risek.  Her brother Joseph Risek also preceded her in death along with one daughter, Vickie Jahner. 

                Survivors include her husband, Donnie H. Slone; two children, Barbara Barber of Harrison, Mich., and James (Inga) Barber of Cadillac, Mich.; grandchildren, Holly (Brad) Spencer, Vickie Patnode (Danny), Angel (Reo) McQueen, Stephen (Crystal) Simpson, Stephanie Simpson, of Cadillac, James Barber Jr. (Morgan Harris) of Georgia, and Kyle (Ashli) of Michigan; and several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

                Also surviving are two brothers, Richard Risek of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jim (Sanyalak) Risek of Coppers Cove, Tex.; one sister, Margaret (Randall) Merritt of East Lynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

                Private services will be held for the family.  Arrangements by Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
