SUSIE FAYE STILTNER, 90, of Lavalette, WV, passed away on June 10, 2023. She was the loving and devoted wife of William E.Stiltner for 35 happy years until his passing in 1988. Together they had 3 children, William David Stiltner, Elizabeth Albright and Margaret Stiltner-Richmond (Jon). She leaves behind a loving legacy of several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Susie was born to Johnny and Agnes Watts and was one of 11 children. Preceded in death, in addition to her parents, are brothers Charley Watts, Howard Watts, Glen Watts, infant Johnny Watts, and sister Edna Canaday McInturf. Susie is survived by sisters Juanita Lawhon, Brenda Lyons, Seay Jervis, Dorothy Stephens, Pam Pratt, as well as her sisters-in-law Marie Watts Rowe and Patsy Watts who loved her dearly.
Susie loved God, her family, cooking large family meals, gardening, and being the “yard sale lady.” She enjoyed playing dominos (mainly Double-12’s) and could count the board rapidly.
Visitation will be held at Johnson-Tiller Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 12:00 -1:00 PM. A private graveside service will follow for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring a note or card with your favorite memory of Susie.
