TAMMY JO KNAPPENBERGER, 64, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2026. She was born April 8, 1961, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ray and Mary Jo Lovins. Tammy was a member of Swagger Valley Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her husband Tim Knappenberger; two sons, Jamie (Hope) Wolfe of Lucasville, Oh., and Jeremy (Ashley) Wolfe of Kenova, W.Va.; and six grandchildren, Kellan Wolfe, Jayden Briggs, Dylan Lester, Hattie Wolfe, Jordie Wolfe, and Gavynn Wolfe.
Also surviving are four siblings, Danny Lovins of Kenova, W.Va., Cindy Sowards of Wheelersburg, Oh., Lisa Lovins of Ceredo, W.Va., and Greg (Kathy) Lovins of Leland, N.C.; as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Friday at the funeral home.
