Tena Marie Sheppard

TENA MARIE SHEPPARD, 66, of Wayne, W.Va. passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at her home.  She was born January 25, 1956, in Whitesville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Beverly Ann and Denny Dallas King. She was also preceded in death by her aunts Geraldine Ferrell, and Lorena Daily; uncles James Brown, and Ira “Mango” Tucker.  Tena graduated from Cooper High School in Cooper City, Florida and remained a resident of Florida for several years.    

Survivors include two sons, Cory Sheppard and Cody (Heaven) Sheppard; three grandsons, Teddy, Gabe, and Colt, all of Huntington; one brother Rex King of Barboursville, W.Va.; one aunt, Sandra Jarrell; one uncle, Quince “Junior” Brown of S.C.; several cousins; and a very special friend and caregiver, Stella Bradley of Wayne.

Per her request, there will be no services.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
