Tony Mark Thompson

TONY MARK THOMPSON, 74, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on November 9, 1950, in Mooresville, North Carolina, a son of the late Charles Howard Thompson and Margaret Josephine Karriker Cook.   His stepfather Hoyle Edward Cook also preceded him in death.  Tony served in the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver.

                Survivors include one sister, Renee Shoaf; one brother Roger Hoyle Cook; two children and several grandchildren.

                Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Institute, W.Va.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
