WANDALENE STROUD ESLICK, 67, of Dunlow, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born June 25, 1954, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Leonard and Verlie Stroud. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Jessie Stroud, Robert Lee Stroud, and Leland (Darlene) Stroud; two sisters, Christine Marcum and Nancy “Ida Mae” Marcum; and one son, Bobby Joe Bowens. Wandalene was an EMT for the Dunlow Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years and attended Rosetown Church.
She leaves behind her loving husband, James Allen Eslick; one son, Keith Lee Bowens; three sisters, Mary (Gary) Ranson of Ona, W.Va., Irene (Claude) Marcum of Crum, and Maxine (James) Dingess of Crum; one brother Leonard Ray (Hilda) Stroud of Crum; special friend Yvette Copley of Dunlow; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the William Perry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday.
