FIRST SERGANT WILLIAM CURTIS BUSH, 86, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away July 17, 2025. He was born June 11, 1939, in Huntington, a son of the late Earl and Merle Jane Boggs. Bill graduated Huntington East High School and was a United States Army veteran. He retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Kay Dillon Bush; two daughters Jamie Runyon of Delbarton, W.Va., and Taylor Morgan (Aaron) Boster of Huntington; three grandchildren, Asia (Harry) Marcum of Huntington, Makayla Runyon and her fiancé Tyler Grimmett of Gilbert, W.Va., and Neveah Runyon of Delbarton; and two great grandchildren Kaylynn Michelle Boster, and Kinson Boster, both of Huntington. Also surviving is one brother, Earl Ray (Sara) Bush of Huntington; one niece Denise (Rick) Tickett; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church 2111 James River Road where military honors will be performed.
