WILLIAM “BILL” WALLACE FLINT, 86, of Wayne, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2020. He was born March 26, 1933 in Braxton County, W.Va., a son of the late Arch and Mary Ann Cutlip Flint. His wife Myrtle Flint also preceded him in death along with daughter-in-law Alberta Flint; brothers Clyde, Burton, Jim and Johnny; and sisters Colleen Hamrick, and Florine Adkins.
Bill was retired from Heiner’s Bakery and a member of Echo United Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Flint; two granddaughters, Chasiti (Dustin) Ervin, and Cala (Tony) Clay; and one great grandchild, Bennett.
Also surviving is one brother, Earl Flint; three sisters, Wavelene Leone, Marlene Fitzwater, and Ora Wright; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders Tony Clay, Tommy Damron and Roger Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Greasy Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
