William David Staley

WILLIAM DAVID STALEY, 72, of Genoa, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.  He was born December 31, 1951, the son of the late William “Bill” and Laura Staley.  Also preceding him in death were sisters, Patsy Hughes, Irene Vance, and infant Betty Lou Staley; and brother, Alpha Staley.  

Survivors include one sister, Georgie Johnson of Huntington; two brothers, Charles Staley of Genoa, and James (Donetta) Staley, also of Genoa; and several dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elder Roger Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.
