Obituary

WILLIAM WILTON WALTERS, 76, of Lavalette, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  He was born April 17, 1947, in Wayne County, West Virgnia, a son of the late Wilton and Alice Walters.  His wife Shirley Walters also preceded him in death along with one sister, Delores and one brother-in-law, Boo Coleman. 

                Survivors include his daughter Anita Walters (Jody Adkins) of Lavalette; four sisters, Janice Walters, Ruth Carter, Hope Coleman, and Christine Harmon, all of Wayne; seven brothers, Desmond Walters of Wayne, Paul (Carol Jean) Walters of Ohio, Jack Walters of Wayne, John (Barb) Walters of Ceredo, W.Va., Danny Walters, Ervin Walters, both of Wayne, and Ricky (Joyce) Walters of Barboursville, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

                Funeral Service will be conducted at noon on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday.
