I can remember when I was small and the store was below my house. My sister and I would gather empty pop bottles even those along the way and cash them in. My mom had given permission for me to bet some blow gum, my sister wouldn't let me have the money to get the blow gum (bubblegum). Marvin opened his cash regisiter and took out the money and told me to get it and I handed him the money back , of course, Richard was in on it. Marvin was a great neighbor up until the dam took the store.
